Afghanistan Refugees’ Community Council Program (ARCCP)

The Afghanistan refugee community council program (ARCCP) is designed for Afghans refugees living in Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Bethlehem, and Saratoga counties. The program aims to empower the local Afghan communities to take an active role in identifying and addressing issues that affect their daily lives. The program involves establishing a community council made up of community leaders who work together to identify priorities, develop plans, and implement initiatives to improve their communities. The program will be supervised and monitored by Alliance for Refugees and Immigrants designated staff.
